Cambria Cat Club Show 2010
Our 26th annual show will be held at the Thornbury Leisure Centre, Alveston Hill, Thornbury, Bristol, BS35 3JB on Saturday 9th October 2010.
The Team Robinson is putting the schedule together now so hopefully the 2010 show will be a happy and successful event.
As a tribute to Founder Member and long-time Committee Member Averil Rawsthorne, who died in June 2009, we will be giving out a few special rosettes. Averil bred Burmese – especially Lilacs, Reds, and Creams as well as Chocolates – her prefix was ‘Merrymew’. Members of the committee will choose one cat from each Section, including the Household Pets, during the day and award them one of these special rosettes.
There is a mistake in the postal catalogue it states that the closing date for entries is 8th September when it is in fact 15th September

Many of you will know that the search for a show venue in Wales continues and that getting the combination of what we need right is a difficult task! The committee and the show management are working on this but in the meantime, we feel that it is better to have the show at an established and popular venue rather than not at all, and we hope that most of you agree. We are grateful for the support you have given us throughout, and hope that we will continue to do justice to your loyalty.
Here is our ‘shopping list’ for a suitable venue:
1) A minimum of 10,000 sq ft (100ft by 100ft or equivalent)
2) Judges room to accommodate 80+ for coffee etc am and Lunch
3) Isolation room which would take 16ft for pens
4) Car Parking for 350 cars+ (Free would be good)
5) In-house Catering
6) Restaurant/Cafe for Exhibitors
7) Access over Friday/Saturday
